The Hundred Nitrix 70 Volta is Hundred's second pro-power weapon after the Venom and is aimed at players who want maximum smash power without the uncompromising demands of a pure top-level racket. Head-heavy balance, a 22.5 cm long shaft and medium flex deliver explosive shot acceleration with significantly more whip feel than the stiffer Venom.
Playing characteristics: pro power with more whip
The exceptionally long shaft (22.5 cm – one of the longest in independent comparative measurements) creates a larger swing arc and therefore higher racket head speed at impact. In practical terms: more smash velocity at the same arm motion – a mechanical advantage for players still developing their power technique.
The medium-flex characteristic gives the Volta its typical whippy behaviour that the stiffer Venom does not offer. The Volta is more forgiving and delivers tangible smash power even without perfect technique.
